FIND YOUR LOVE FOR BUSINESS AT THE BIG VALENTINE MARKET

 

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Sheffield City Council’s Enterprise Team, , is inviting people across Sheffield to the Big Valentine Market, to sample the delights of Sheffield’s recent successful start-ups and to discover their own love for business.

 

The event, organised by Sheffield City Council’s Enterprise Team will offer visitors the chance to browse the various market stalls and purchase their Valentine gifts, as Sheffield’s latest start-ups showcase personalised chocolate, handmade jewellery, clothing, artwork and much more.

 

In addition, the Ideas Factory will offer workshops with practical advice and guidance on starting a business. Visitors will be able to generate business ideas, discuss existing business ideas, receive guidance on the first steps of setting up in business and explore existing opportunities in the city.

 

Kevin Bennett, Director of Enterprise at Sheffield City Council comments: "We are really excited to hold Sheffield’s first Big Valentine Market as, not only does it allow people to come and talk to our team about their new business ideas in an informal setting, it also shows just how far Sheffield has travelled when it comes to enterprise, with a wide-variety of exciting and successful businesses selling their products and services."

 

The Big Valentine Market is on Saturday 13 February from 10am-4pm at Sheffield City Hall. The event is free and whether simply looking for gifts, or interested in setting up in business, there is something for everyone.
