DCS Cleaning Services

 

Born and bred Parsons Cross lad Brian Dempsey had been working as a postman for the past five years. He decided that working for someone else wasn’t right for him and that he wanted to be his own boss instead.

 

He contacted BiG: Make it Your Business for advice and was given support starting up his business, training on book keeping and IT, sales and marketing advice, help with gaining contracts and one on one mentoring.

 

In November 2007 Brian set up DCS Cleaning Services and his hard work has seen him go from strength to strength.

 

DCS Cleaning Services has grown rapidly and expanded to cover Barnsley and Rotherham as well as Sheffield.  Brian’s blossoming business skills have also seen him win several large contracts. He now employs six members of staff from his local community and is glad to give opportunities back to the people around him.
